Community Participation Income
Participation is a requirement for receiving RA.
Participation takes place via lists, projects, deliverables, via smart contract or the future interface of tetra.earth
Participation as a citizen means
Publishing a list of the local projects you love
Reviewing deliverables for the projects you support
Participation as a project means
Publishing a project tree of where the funding goes [branches]
Stating deliverables before the beginning of a season
Reporting on deliverables + self-rating your projects actual vs expected performance
Lists are the primary record of participation, and being a responsible citizen means you care about the projects you vote on, and take the time to review their process every 3 months.
How Lists Work List
Each list distributes 144 RA + 144 Local RA to projects.
Lists contain:
projects you want to vote on
the amount you want to contribute
All amounts on the list must add up to 144.
You decide how to disctibute the 144, i.e. 12 projects with 12 tokens, 1 with 144, or 100 to one and 44 to another.
Projects receive Local RA tokens daily, and the global RA token quarterly after they've published their deliverables. There is no economic penalty for publishing a report that says deliverables weren't met, so long as metrics are provided, but failing to report means . It's up to citizens to decide when to remove a bad project from their lists.
Lists and Charts
You should be familiar that 1 RA = 1 upvote, but lists also influence the charts automatically. Thus, a project earns 1 point in the charting algorithm for each RA they will receive (which could be spent for an additional point.)
Each day, lists set the stage for competition. Citizens then know what projects have awareness, and which ones need additional support.
